Do I need a card to start the trial?
Yes — the trial runs through Stripe Checkout, so a card goes on file, but $0 is charged today. The first $39.99 bills when the 3-day trial ends. Cancel any time before then from Account → Manage billing and you are never charged. Signing up for a Free account needs no card at all.
What happens when the trial ends?
If you keep the plan, $39.99 bills automatically and monthly after that. If you cancel first: Cancel before the trial ends and you pay nothing — the account drops to Free: 720p, a watermark, 5 of the 10 layouts, and 24-hour storage. Your account stays; the media does not. Anything you recorded during the trial becomes subject to the Free retention rule at that point, so download what you want to keep.
Why does Free delete recordings after 24 hours?
On Free, recordings and exports are permanently deleted 24 hours after they are created. Download them before then, or upgrade to keep them. Storing video is the biggest running cost of this product, so persistent storage is part of what you are actually paying for on Pro. On Free you will see a countdown on every asset, and Pro media is never auto-deleted.
What resolution do exports come out at?
Free renders the 9:16 canvas at 720x1280 with a watermark. Pro renders at 2160x3840 — full 4K — with no watermark. Pro also accepts a 4K source: you can record and upload 4K footage, and the composite is built from that original file rather than a downscaled proxy. The studio tells you which resolution a take will export at before you hit record, from the same configuration the server enforces.
What happens when I hit my storage quota?
Hitting your storage quota pauses new uploads and renders until you clear space. We never delete a paying customer's media. Delete a session or upgrade and everything resumes immediately.
Can I get a refund?
Full refund within 14 days of your first charge on any plan. Email billing@overreact.tv from the address on the account and we will process it.
What happens when I cancel?
Cancel any time from your billing portal. Access continues until the end of the billing period you already paid for. We do not prorate mid-cycle. Cancelling on day 3 of a month still gives you the rest of that month.
Can I cancel mid-month?
Yes, from the billing portal in your account. Cancelling takes effect at the end of the period you have already paid for, so you keep what you bought until then, and the account drops to Free afterwards. Questions about a specific charge go to billing@overreact.tv.
